MAN ACCUSED OF MISCHIEF

An ongoing dispute at a Dublin St. rooming home culminated in breaking and entering and mischief charges for a 41-year-old man Wednesday night, city police said.

At about 9 p. m., a man began knocking on his 63-year-old neighbour's door, challenging him to a fight, police said.

Eventually the man kicked in the neighbour's door causing about $150 in damage, police said.

He entered the neighbour's room, but noticed he had armed himself with an axe handle, police said.

Witnesses called police, who charged Dean Russell Kory with mischief under $5,000 and break and enter.

He was held in custody and appeared in court Thursday.
