In R. v National Post, the Supreme Court of Canada equated corpus delicti with actus reus:
e�quate ??kw?t/ verb consider (one thing) to be the same as or equivalent to another. ^^ This sounds close to a synonym and/or homonym.
Actus Reus Definition: Latin: a prohibited act.
:/ Actus Reus doesn't require an injured party? Well isn't that convenient? Apparently it only requires that a PERSON does something that is PROHIBITED.
