Libertarians and my cat:

"There are plenty of different legalese mythology theories which amount to, "You accidentally and secretly AGREED and CONSENTED to be ruled by government by..." Then they end the statement with "calling yourself a 'citizen'" or "using FRN's" or "having a Social Security Number" or "using a bank account" or "spelling your name in all capital letters" or they say it's about living here without filing some magic piece of paper or "declaring" something or other.

Trouble is, that is all absolute BS. You can't ACCIDENTALLY acquire a contractual obligation. If I said, "You AGREED to be my subject by wearing shoes while in North America (because I just said so)," the proper response is not to take off your shoes; it's to tell me to piss off."

Larken Rose and these cats are the same, because they have so much in common:

1. They all think they rule their environment 2. They're all completely dependent on everything outside of their delusion

Before I start bashing Libertarians, it is important that I point out the indisputable facts about which they are indisputably correct. They are indisputably correct that no man has an authority over another man. In short, you don't get to "own" people, no matter how big your mob may be. It's also indisputable that the benefits which government claims to provide, should be voluntary. Here's where the similarities end.

Libertarians espouse their fondness to set their own terms and to talk about voluntaryism, but even volunteering is a CONTRACT. You are providing a service when you volunteer, and assuming all surety for the benefit of someone else. Those therein would be the terms of a CONTRACT. That same Libertarian would find it appalling if, as a community we built a road, and I decided I was going to set up a toll booth to collect my share of the labour. Libertarians will have no shortage of complaints when contracts that they're involved in are ignored.

When I declare that you are bound by ACTS, CODES and STATUTES when you use LEGAL TENDER, I am relating what the NOTICE of that CONTRACT says. I'm not stating they have "magic fucking powers"; and this is the thing that is lost on Libertarians. I am simply informing everyone what the CONTRACT is, and if you ignore the CONTRACTS of others, why should they give a quarter-fuck about you? The subject of this discussion, the stupid rant, is just relating the very stupid position that ignoring CONTRACTS, breaking promises, and just plain committing FRAUD, is OK because...

FREE-DUMMMMMMMMB!

These are not "hidden, or "accidental" contracts. There is NOTICE.

I NORMALLY don't have the right to put a bullet in your head for ignoring my orders...

...but step onto one of my ships, and ignore my orders, and you will get a bullet to the head from the Captain. It wouldn't even be a "crime" to do so. We're under a LIBERIAN flag, not "Murrikuh". I have to frame policy around THOSE "laws", of which there are VERY few. Don't like it? DON'T BOARD MY SHIPS!

Don't like the obligations that come with "Legal Tender"? DON'T USE IT. Want to ignore any contracts that come with LEGAL TENDER, then LIEN YOUR NAME. It's why they are afraid to give credit to people who have liened their name; You have NO obligation to obey the terms. your obligation is to the principal claim.

I get to pretend the contracts aren't there. You don't.

THEY have breached THEIR SIDE of the contract, and no longer represent the interests of the people the "government" is supposed to be AGENT for; THAT is why you can dismiss it, NOT because you want to pretend those contracts aren't there. Do that, and you can expect the same treatment in return.

Hey Larken! How 'bout I wander onto your land and declare "I'm not bound by any property rights defined on magic parchments, and your opinion" and then go raiding your home for goodies. You REALLY think that is a valid position to hold? NO! If I were to do that, I'd expect Hosey Josie "The Outlaw" to come waddling out with a chartreuse flamethrower, and frying my ass.

Make no mistake, I agree with everything that Larken Rose stands for, but on this issue, he's just dead wrong, and negates every other principle he stands for. Ignore your contracts, and you become what you behold. If the government isn't keeping up their end of the bargain, secure your name, otherwise, COMPLY WITH YOUR CONTRACTUAL UNDERTAKINGS. Don't be THEM!

See... Here's the thing; It doesn't matter if it's libertarians, or Free-Dumbers! If you say something that's dead wrong, that people might BELIEVE, I'm going to speak up, because people believing bullshit like "ignore everyone's contracts except yours", doesn't really serve my agenda (to say nothing of my sense of ethics).

It SERVES MY AGENDA to have people know the truth. I have NEVER been secretive about that. I CAN'T be. This whole exercise would be pointless otherwise.

Government is like a private Navy. I am Admiral of AQUILAE'S Navy. I Don't COMMAND, I SERVE. My CAPTAINS are my ONLY real concern.

I don't derive my "authority" from magic parchments and titles. I have the authority I do, because my captains TRUST me. The rules GOVERNING my authority, are the written testament to that TRUST, and when it is signed, that signatory has SURETY for that trust.

..it's also why one would do well to shut the fuck up and do what I say, on those ships, lest a Captain leverage "Kinetic Enforcement" on ...one. :D

The same applies to ME when I board another Privateer's vessel. I shut the fuck up and do what I'm told, because I CONSENTED WHEN I FUCKING BOARDED.

Navies have used these rules for CENTURIES. Your "Government" is BASED ON ADMIRALTY MARITIME LAW, as much as you want to pretend it isn't.

Remember; I'm one of the "Bad Guys" who was kicked out of the club! I was being groomed to be one of the "Executives" of the Legal Matrix, <---(yes that's a thing), and I dared ask "do we have the right?", and I was "Kicked out of the Club".

It's also why I know to have a Navy. It's why I know what LIBERTY means (It's NOT a synonym for "freedom"), and it is why I am building the things I am.

NONE of you know what's been stolen from you, yet, but you will. That is why I am doing ALL of this; SO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT'S BEEN STOLEN FROM YOU.

I am a great composer. People have paid me for it. I am a great writer. People have paid me for it. I am a great Computer Scientist. People have paid me for it. I am a great engineer. My fleet is standardized with my work.

...and these are just a sample. That's not made up. Women have spent years with me JUST TO SEE ME DO IT. Some still do.

Except, I'm no different than you. We're all just semi-evolved chimps that made it this far, and I DO NOT POSSESS ANY MENTAL POWERS THAT YOU DO NOT POSSESS. I AM THE SAME AS YOU.

Why aren't YOU all these things, AND MORE?

At the risk of joining the Scott Duncan "fan club", I have personally witnessed his prowess in the areas he cites - this in addition to all the usual personal requirements and obligations you might mention, that would prohibit you from accomplishing any of these things. The competencies he lists are only a few of his skill-sets. While some come to him naturally, others do not; in all cases these abilities have been developed, or enhanced, through hundreds - probably thousands - of hours of exhaustive research. If he is working on a project, he is also applying anything he learns to the larger picture. If he is being sued (usually to cause him financial harm or "shut him up"), he also continues to study. While some of you may see his activity on Facebook as omnipresent, he is also still working and studying. Despite having no mental powers you do not, he remains the most interesting, humorous and motivated man (human), I have ever met.

What he knows he freely "gives" to others. People with equal knowledge are peers, people with greater knowledge are resources. If you are in any way impressed by Scott, the only thing stopping you from being equally impressive, is yourselves. Over the years we have disagreed on two things. The first is my unwavering position that "inserting" knowledge into people who have not legitimately "earned" it, fails to imbue them with the ethical imperative that would accompany the acquisition of this knowledge through hard work and personal struggle. The second is frankly none of your business; the outcomes of both are, as yet, unresolved.

I have heard him say from time-to-time that thanking him, or deifying him, are equally pointless. Thanking someone, while polite and pleasant, is an essentially hollow gesture. In my recollection no one has fed a family or paid a mortgage on the basis of someone's "thanks". If you deify someone you must, by extrapolation, believe that "gifts" are afforded by some higher power. This essentially frees the bestower of this homage from any responsibility for personal development, as it excuses the lesser efforts of mere mortal men.

In the read-'em and weep category, I should mention that Scott is proficient at cutting women's hair in attractive, and mathematically impressive, styles. I have also seen him do some pretty impressive electrical work, and he "rocks" plumbing. Somewhat ironically, I believe he acquired these skills to facilitate getting laid.

:) Tara I wish I could pinpoint what it is about your words that I absolutley love beyond the truth in them. Perhaps its because you have a remarkable ability to succinctly express many things that I have observed and present it in a way that folks can easily observe for themselves if they stop to think. Whatever it may be your words usually leave a smile on my face.

Ok, here�s a TRUE story�

A year ago, a PERSON I happen to have FULL trust in, bought 22 skids of shit from Hydro-Quebec (the irony :D ).

In that lot of 22 skids, there was 4 skids filled with VCR�s. And of course the PERSON I happen to have full TRUST in, haven�t bought this lot for these fucking VCR�s, in fact, the plan was to trash them. The other 18 skids left was more interesting for that PERSON ;)

But out of the black, a man came from nowhere, he told me he was NOT a nigger, but a French man from Haiti. I have no idea why he said that, but he said it�.

Anyway, this No-Nigger French Black man from Haiti have bought ALL these VCR�s, for $5 each :/

He made a few trip back and forth with his 1989 Ford Aerostar to pick them up.

So I KNOW that some folks somewhere are still using these dinosaurs�.there was 153 of these VCR�s. And that NON-NIGGER Black man from Haiti, told me that these things would be put in a container, and be shipped to Haiti.

Not my fault :/
