To the casual reader: The reason this picture is NOT "off topic" is that IT'S ALL ABOUT ME! :D
(Menard and Quatloos will cream themselves quoting that.)
Ok coffee experts, what is the best coffee you can buy then?
(Brand / Company / country / ...)
From someone that tells only the truth (Scott) and doesn't use marketing to sell anything! :D
Over the years we have sampled dozens of different blends from chain coffee-shops to mom & pop shops to specialty places, including companies that roast their own beans. We have spent ridiculous money on Hawaiian, Blue Mountain, and have even tried coffee previously eaten and digested by the Asian palm civet.
Ceit and Scott mentioned our current "favorite" which is a replacement for our former first choice Colombian coffee, also from Timothy's, and discontinued for no reason they could describe.
We are just that serious about this addiction; however, we can currently only speak with authority regarding medium roasts. Probably coffee from Costa Rica would be awesome. We'll be interested in your opinion (David-Paul) - have a great trip.
It was a great trip Tara and I'm glad I tried the coffee. I brought back something for the you and the Admiral, this way you can verify that my opinion is worth something ;)
Trillions in value created by solving a math problem, a private navy and lead developer on the war on wrong. The next 50 years should prove both terrifying and beautiful. Thank you for your time Scott
This just in....Timothy's is out. Zavida Coffee Roasters coffee is in - here's why.
We dropped by one of their new locations and they invited us to try several of their coffees for free. Not a taste, but whole cups of coffee. All of their blends are great. Their coffee is less expensive per pound than at other coffee shops. The staff is competent and unfailingly cheerful - not man-bun hipster cheerful...they actually seem to like their jobs. We started buying their privately labelled Zavida coffee pods by the bucket load. When our Keurig machine met an untimely end and we found the new models have DRM restrictions, we were left with several pounds of unusable product. Zavida refunded our purchase and replaced it with coffee beans of higher value as we went "manual". Once I called the number on their web site to see if the shop was still open (it wasn't) and the owner called me back from his personal cell phone and chatted about the company. There is nothing about this place we don't like.
Also...fuck dolphins.
Yes, just so. You put the coffee pod in the device and you get an electronic message that starts with, "Oops". Don't get me wrong. If we were sufficiently motivated we could make this work. I know how. That said, I don't accept limitations from a coffee machine that I purchased, and I won't have a device in my home that communicates information to me like I'm an autistic 12 year-old.
This is quite the personal testimonial. If I drank more coffee I would be contacting Zavida and letting them know that Tara spoke very highly of them. This is an unusual experience :/ The fact that this shocks me only confirms just how far gone we are from what should be a common experience.
"Is there some strange genetic sorcery going on here? That doesn't look like a 50 year old!"
It could be because this guy is 49 or it could be those cool shades :P I trust your birthday was productive and included some delicious cake :)
