These three words come back often. Everytime, I get to think before choosing between the three, and sometimes doubts persist�..

request (French requ�te) 1) v. a way of saying that a party to a lawsuit (or usually the attorney) is asking or demanding a judge to act (such as issuing a writ) or demanding something from the other party (such as production of documents). 2) n. the act of asking or demanding.

Demand (French Demande) Peremptory allegation or assertion of a legal right. A demand is an emphatic claim, which presumes that no doubt exists regarding its legal force and effect. It is a request made with authority. A money demand is a demand for a fixed sum of money that arises out of an agreement or contract. Commercial Paper is frequently payable on demand or immediately upon request.

Claim (French R�clamation) To demand or assert as a right. Facts that combine to give rise to a legally enforceable right or judicial action. Demand for relief. A claim is something that one party owes another. Someone may make a legal claim for money, or property, or for Social Security benefits. A claim also means an interest in, as in a possessory claim, or right to possession, or a claim of title to land.

claim 1) v. to make a demand for money, for property, or for enforcement of a right provided by law. 2) n. the making of a demand (assert a claim) for money due, for property, for damages or for enforcement of a right. If such a demand is not honored, it may result in a lawsuit. In order to enforce a right against a government agency (ranging for damages from a negligent bus driver to a shortage in payroll) a claim must be filed first. If rejected or ignored by the government, it is lawsuit time.

Example:

The Quebec Revenue Agency conducted a criminal investigation on the legal entity named PIERRE DAOUST.

They have conducted that investigation through the chartered accountant, and it has an effect that the chartered accountant stopped servicing every affairs involving the person named PIERRE DAOUST. He got scared :/

When I approach another chartered account, and tell him/her the truth on WHY the previous chartered accountant stopped servicing, they don't want to offer their services... :(

I would have to LIE to get a new chartered accountant, it seems so... :/

Now, I want to have an audio of that criminal investigation conducted by QRA over the phone with the accountant. I know QRA record all calls.....

Should I claim, demand or request this audio ?

Well, why in the world a QRA agent would think that me, and/or PIERRE DAOUST, would be a criminal biker's gang member ?

Only because I have administrate some debts via the surety ? :/

I haven't done anything wrong, I haven't done anything illegal ? :(

Why would you claim/demand anything? At the end, it's all surety, and accounting. Principal and agents. They can conduct any investigation they wish. So what if PIERRE DAOUST is found guilty of some offence? :/ I guess that's the PRINCIPAL's responsibility to ANSWER to such claim, right? Why do you demand information, are you planning to DEFEND someone?

You may be right about this, but my new programming is bringing me to this road.

if you are an agent of PIERRE DAOUST, wouldn't it be in your best interests to notify the principal of an aggressor?

As far as the other 2 entities, as long as the accounting is balanced, there shouldn't be any issues, yes?
