The chicken that was separated is named Dottie. Sometimes she comes to the back door and yells at us. I throw some treats put, she goes away and continues to give me one egg every day. Sound familiar?

We take some of these eggs and give them to friends and acquaintances. Perhaps for something in return later, but mostly because we have more than we need. We take them everyday and feel that they belong to us. :)
