It's "the law" when it suits them. Business must not be too bad if he can afford to dismiss it... ?

It's a Vegas Casino, and this news is "Jackpot." Everyone else lost around him.

Bart, nothing planned for any court appearances at the moment... Why what have you heard? ? I haven't bought the debt from my last court case though and this morning a letter from a collection agency rather than the court themselves arrived... Have they bought the debt and are now trying to sell it to me?

You could return the letter to the collection agency, ABANDONED PROPERTY, RETURN TO RIGHTFUL OWNER and / or SENDER. You have no valid contract with this firm. Or ask the question, can I use the surety of the person / legal entity I happen to have to pay this public debt? Or you could seek clarification from the sender that you received a bill of exchange and under the bill of exchange act 1882, they have an obligation to disclose all methods to you on how to pay it.

In my experience, ABANDONED PROPERTY stamped mail was returned to.... ME. :/ I received what I assume is a debt today, addressed to the PERSON. I did not open. Marked RETURN TO SENDER, NOT THIS ADDRESS, NO CONTRACT. Interlopers are calling, also.
