And then "A retired police commander testified Friday to faking arrests during a G20 protest so he could let bystanders he believed were unjustly being detained by police go home." Imagine having to FAKE ARRESTS to avoid being "reprimanded" for doing the right thing. What a fucking joke! http://www.thestar.com/news/gta/2014/12/05/g20_police_commander_says_he_faked_arrests_to_let_bystanders_escape_kettling.html#

So where are all the "fake arrest" protesters? Surely ONE of them would come forward just to tell the story!

I'm guessing they're probably hiding in fear trying to avoid any further confrontations with the police. That was the point I think, to show folks who has the real power

I think it's more reasonable to presume these "fake arrests" never happened. Remember who this cop is. Cops are TRAINED LIARS. Suddenly this one is telling the truth? Why the pretense? Why not just say "no" and go home?

Yes they are trained liars but then this cop would be lying against another cop. Don't they normally they lie for each other?

Ha ha ha... "The government believes the new law will remove any legislation Toronto police exploited or misinterpreted during the G20." Should somebody tell the government the Police don't need legislation to expolit folks, they do it everyday anyways. http://www.thestar.com/news/queenspark/2014/12/11/g20_secret_law_finally_replaced.html

:D It really strikes the balance between civil liberties and personal safety and security, said Naqvi, noting, in 2011, McMurtry urged that any new legislation focus on security at courthouses, nuclear facilities and other large electricity-generating stations. :D THIS PARAGRAPH! :D "For your Safety" - Isn't that nice :/ "focus on security at courthouses, nuclear facilities and other large electricity-generating stations" - Notice that "Courthouses" come AHEAD of electricity, and nukes... ...courthouses. Terrorists only attack courthouses when they make it "legal" to hurt people for imaginary things. EVER. A terrorist may blow up a nuke plant or power grid to cripple you... What does blowing up a courthouse do except create marshal law? THINK about it. The more "security" you have at a "courthouse" the more people the "terrorist" is killing. Some of which ARE SECURITY. Now you have Marshal Law, and the terrorists win. They aren't afraid of "terrorists". They're afraid of YOU. Why is that? :D
