I have a question about cheques. Is there any reason that a "counter cheque" would not be a proper form of payment on a loan account? I've just had 2 of them returned to me... :/

I can think of about 30 reasons off the top of my head, in Canadian banking...

Sorry, yes... I am in Canada (Nova Scotia).

I've never had cheques sent back to me before.
