I intend to have an affidavit verified by a commissioner of oaths/solicitor for the upcoming court date I will attend.

I will probably be asked for ID by the solicitor. Should I just produce a passport/driving license or should I bring a Birth Cert to show I am lawful holder in due course and therefore administrator as that is how I am presenting myself on the affidavit...?

It won't be much use if I get in there and they say "We can't accept this affidavit as it is not legally recognised" or some shite like that.

Obviously I can read it out on the spot then. It was my understanding that an affidavit should be witnessed by a practising solicitor...

By what aut authority do they refuse your submission? You can submit a fucking napkin, if you want!

They can't refuse you, really.

Get their name, and submit by registered mail, that they refused your submission (include the submission) and therefore consider the matter closed.

Its regarding the speeding fine that I issued a completed bill of exchange for but have now been summoned for. I wish to submit an affidavit to the court file outlining the facts thus far complete with exhibits. I didn't know if it needed to be witnessed by a solicitor or not...

At the moment it has "by Eamonn O Brien, Sole authorised administrator for the legal person EAMONN O BRIEN" :/ Should this not be "By: Sole authorised administrator for the legal person EAMONN O BRIEN" Capitaine Pete or am I splitting hairs?
