Pretty damn stupid that this ISN'T happening. Great idea to keep the agents accountable.

So where does the funds come from to pay for this insurance? OH WAIT, from the taxpayer, as per usual. This scheme may "work" to reduce police abuses but because the insurers take a cut, the taxpayer will be paying more overall. Insurance Companies would ONLY do this if there was profits to be made. If you think the cops wouldn't want a raise to compensate them for their insurance fees, better do the math again. Here is a fucking idea, apply the rules already in place for everyone, equally. If it doesn't work then, then it is not VIABLE.

Masters do not have to follow legal mandates if they choose not to. Masters can request that servants perform any task. The servant does not have to be a servant. Cops that do not abrogate rights will have no increase in their premiums.

I noticed Scott liked the above. here's my edumacated and fuckulated guess why (so much to unlearn)... "Masters do not have to follow legal mandates if they choose not to. Masters can request that servants perform any task" = I REGISTER a lien because I choose to be a master. "The servant does not have to be a servant." = "Fuck off that's why!" "Cops that do not abrogate rights will have no increase in their premiums." = Agents might not, but public agencies might very well have their premiums raised. Am I even close?
