Ok, I often read "the surety OF the person". That would mean that the person HAS a surety.

But I re-read Scott's article tonight "Persons for idiots" and toward the end it reads:

"The person IS, in reality, a security."

So which is it and why? :)

If the person IS surety it can't HAVE it at the same time? :/

Surety=security. the bridge into ACCOUNTING, which is what LEGAL is. SURETY IS the TRUSTEE of the Security.

On a 10 dollar bill, the SECURITY is the note itself, which IDENTIFIES the SURETY (Bank of Canada)

The PERSON is the ALL CAPS NAME on the SECURITY INSTRUMENT (Birth Certificate) which identifies the SURETY (Government of *State/Province*).

Get it?

Now, let me use some Robert Menard Peanut Butter Theory here to figure this out the Freedumber way. 47 weeks ago, Dean Clifford is arrested. The fourth letter of the alphabet is D. 7-4=3... uuuummm. The third letter of the alphabet is C. DC=Dean Clifford. And Dean Clifford likes bananas. OK, still with me on this? Rod Class is arrested 47 weeks after Dean Clifford. The 18 letter of the alphabet is R My cat has Fleas. RC=Rod Class=Royal Crest=Royal Crest Bananas Rod Class likes bananas, Too. See where I'm going with this. Bad bananas are being imported from a bad farm. And this years crop has claimed its first Freedumber.
