On an AFFIDAVIT the only thing acceptable is to swear it before a "Commissioner of Oaths" or NOTARY PUBLIC. Now three signatures on an AFFIRMATION is something different altogether I think. Capitaine Pete talked about this in Steve McCall's thread this week.

I don't. I'm not. One doesn't need to go to court when the court is willing to accept an affidavit.

He did answer your question though Cara and would be correct the question concerned an AFFIDAVIT and not an AFFIRMATION. The Admiral and the Captain are always reminding us about the meaning of words and be careful of the words we choose.
