but what about the ghosts of Sureties past? 600K max and no incorporation into the municipality and would be a deal. If its an unincorporated township then the land can go into trust... I read that somewhere once, is this how a land trust is started Scott? I dont recall the name of the forest but I read that it was held in trust for perpetuity for the benefit of the forest, the trees are properly managed and it supports the trust which keeps developers hands off.

I'd check to see if any band has claim. Plus it was a mining town, you can bet the water table is destroyed and the earth is full of toxins. It's scorched earth and only 50 acre's, you can do way better in Magnetawan Ont.
