Name. Date. Account. Registration number. Done in good faith. Without recourse. Bills of exchange and the act that follows on other line.

Wow $28 is an excellent price for 3 stamps. I will need to order a separate one for me and my wife. I recall reading Pete mention that he has 7 stamps (including VOID which is rarely used). The last line is new information for me. Does what follows after BILLS OF EXCHANGE reference a particluar section of the ACT or just the actual name of the ACT e.g. BILLS OF EXCHANGE, BILLS OF EXCHANGE ACT?

By "Yes" Jason you mean both name of ACT and section? I know Captain Pete ...eagerly awaiting an update on your Quebec Hydro situation.

I hate to come back to a thread now that this fool is gone but I'm ordering my stamps and wish to clarify whether the stamps in this post are correct. Seems this guy doesn't read or follow instructions and because I know you have more than 3 stamps Capitain Pete I want to clarify why the difference. Seems like he combined four of the stamps into one. Is there a reason why you have them separate? Here are the stamps that you suggested in another thread: Accepted by: (in black) Bank of Canada (in black) See back for endorsement (in red) Bill of Exchange Act (in black) Account number 26X-XXX-XXX (in black) Inscription number 1196604XXXXXX (in black) Date: ________ (in black) VOID (in red)

It's the Registration # on the Birth Certificate. Quebec uses the term Inscription to be different ;)

While you are at it, or at least I did, get a stamp that says "NEW ORIGINAL."The "VOID" and "NEW ORIGINAL" should be self inking in red.

I remember Derick Hill was playing around with this when it was being discussed. It was something to do with custody of his son. If you can find a thread by D Hill about his custody battle, you will be in the right time frame.
