Lani Black will never admit this (even to herself, I'm sure), but of all the people who were involved in that conversation, the only racist was her. If you choose to define yourself as "a woman of colour" rather than simply a human being, all you are doing is facilitating the same segregation that you claim to so vehemently abhor. Resenting people because of the colour of their skin (something that none of us had any control over) is NO different than hating them for it. That prejudice leaks into every aspect of your life. It colours (no pun intended) your assessment of every comment and interaction. This was not the first such conversation, it was merely the last. For reference, find the "feminism/equality" thread that Scott posted on his page not too long ago, and read the ensuing verbal debate. If you bear a particular prejudice against an individual and/or group of individuals, then that prejudice will change your interpretation of their words and actions. This makes it impossible to have ANY sort of open and meaningful dialogue on ANY subject. Since I have been blocked, chances of her ever reading this are slim, but for the record , Lani Black: YOU are far more concerned about the colour of your skin than ANY of us are.

Words have no more power and meaning than that which we each CHOOSE to give them. The concept that "you can only use certain words if your skin is a certain colour" is not only ridiculous, but RACIST! The fact that the use of the word "nigger" is not only acceptable, but pretty much EXPECTED from your average rap star or black comedian, but is considered an offensive "racial slur" if used by someone whose skin happens to be of a different shade, IS FUCKING RETARDED!!! These are WORDS. A collection of letters strung together to make a specific sound when pronounced. They are not weapons. They cannot harm you. Taking offence when someone chooses to make up new words, poking fun at the entire ludicrous concept, is an even DUMBER idea.

" nigger- a term that is racist, as long as the speaker of it is not black. Forbidden on most all of television and other forms of public entertainment, at times referenced to as the "n-word". However, "cracker", a term racist against whites, is a completely acceptable term used in any context of any national broadcast...hmm... White man: I would like to know why "cracker" and, ahem, "nigger" are not equally forbidden *white man is put on trial for racist slander* " The Urban Dictionary has the most accurate definitions. :p http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=nigger

It did get a bit out of control. But as you can see, it clearly evidences our point. Over and over again, reasonable, logical debate was misread as racial bias. We're not just assholes, we really did put TREMENDOUS effort into making our point. Eventually, as Tara so skillfully demonstrated, you get tired of having your words twisted. As the other individual has proven that no matter how much time and effort you put into crafting an articulate and well-thought out comment, they're not going to hear what you're actually saying; you may as well just say what they're going to hear... "Whitey don't care". :p

FFS! She got the initial job as she is a hen. Hens lay eggs; roosters do not. Roosters are not needed for the begetting of eggs. So yes, she is "highly qualified"; not only for being a chicken, but for being a hen that is ABLE to lay the light brown eggs I desire. Do other hens lay light brown eggs? Yes, they do! However, I do not desire their personalities like I do this particular breed of hen. Tara, I do hope this clears things up for you and Beverly as I sincerely doubt that anyone wants to hear about chickens. :p

That United Sovereign doesn't like you Scott, you meanie! Look what he said: Either way I shared links to files that are still on the page and were there when the page was public shortly thereafter the group whet private. I think that just reaffirms what everyone says about what a small minded prick he is I used to think an idiot savant but the more I learn the more it seems he is only keeping up this appearance in seclusion A friend of ours downloaded everything from that page at least everything that was possibly worth looking at they promised to make it available for educational purposes I will post a link here later

Reading the "Feminist" thread of Scott's....she really is for Affirmative Action in the workplace. Here is a brief glimpse after Ceit had already explained and negated "Affirmative Action" mandates: No it isn't, Ceit. Affirmative action is saying 'we are not willingly inviting you to compete and contribute, so mandates are in place to curb our practice of intentionally excluding you based on your color.' Who wants that? I would love the pride of knowing I absolutely CRUSHED all competition to win something, but even when that's the case, (and, it certainly has been, for me and my siblings, on occasion) certain people cry it's just because of affirmative action. You think controllers and oppressors are open to learning that they are not ACTUALLY superior in any way? You think they want to face that, in reality? I assure you, they don't. Much tyranny and oppression!!!
