Another particularly disingenuous individual has offered $5000 to the first person that can satisfy Marc Stevens' request for proof that states and citizens exist. http://marcstevens.net/board/showthread.php?tid=402

What happens if you use Cuneiform, Hebrew or Latin to create them?

Explaining it is not worth $5000. I would rather keep my time.

To "lose" them, he'd have to HAVE them first. He's lost $0.00

Alrighty then... How do you account for the value you attach to your time that you lost by not explaining how states and citizens exist somewhere?

Do you even know what money is? The amount of pain required to explain it to morons is not worth $5,000.00 [aka: time]

I wonder how valuing the time of others time appreciates over time? This is a great example from Kevin Slavin: "The algorithms of Wall Street are dependent on one quality above all else, which is the speed. The algorithms operate on milliseconds and microseconds. It takes you 500,000 microseconds just to click a mouse. In New York people are hollowing out skyscrapers -- throwing out all the infrastructure for human use and installing stacks of servers for running those algorithms. Because people, inch for inch and pound for pound and dollar for dollar, will not produce what algorithms can produce in a microsecond."

it's all made up BS. Abracadabra: was a joke mocking language. Thus, language is programming. Then to compound the point, I put up the periodic table. Is a State or Citizen even capable of being a scientific element? No. Language is programming designed to make YOU do shit.

I lost no money. Because I the answer was not worth the time. You are the money, it is the labor creates the value. I calculated the amount of work and time required to prove something to a moron, then declined to answer. Which has obviously completely backfired. Because I am now completing that which I mocked. Because Matthew Gundry is the moron. It cannot be proven because the question is flawed to begin with. Arguing with idiots.

Strip away the catch phrases and ad hominems and we're left with a simple misunderstanding - which I'll even take the blame for as I didn't provide the tl;dr backstory to the $5000 reward. Believe it or not, I'm completely on board with the 'it's all BS' point of view re: states, citizens etc. As are the people behind this $5000 stunt.
