I guess that is still the "nice" in me that wants to come out. I realize that is ALSO the PROGRAMMING creeping up on me again. For anyone attempting to apply any of the methods suggested in this group and you find yourself "fearful" because some rapist is threatening you or, on the other end of the scale, are way too "nice" and you want to be "nice" back... understand that is your programming creeping up on you. Being "nice" makes the bending over part of the rape much easier...

You could be called all sorts of other things Beverly. I gave up on "nice" and now I am degrading, rude, insensitive, full of ego, and many other descriptive terms. I haven't been accused of being "nice" for quite a while. Apparently it is more important to people that you say things a certain way than whether or not what you say happens to have any backing.
