The cops won't give a shit about your paperwork. You will need to stand your ground orally at any contact. I had to do it a couple of years ago and it's what lead me here. It worked for me but as I had not tested it, I can tell you it was an adrenalin pumping experience. I knew it worked at the end when the cop (one foot in my lobby and the other about to follow) retreated upon hearing my battle cry "I DO NOT CONSENT TO YOU ENTERING MY HOME, STEP BACK ACROSS THE THRESHOLD!" And he did pretty fucking quickly I'll tell you. :-)

I've been there maximus. sure the audio was posted. no charges were filed for what could have been a stack of them. How don't i get it Pete? my time is valuable. if they're going to waste it at the side of the road or wherever trying to get me to contract then i want to hold them accountable.

i did record the whole thing max! it was in the other post regarding it that i posted a draft invoice and i think it was David vilaca that said if they weren't previously notified then i have no grounds to charge for my time. there were no charges. they took no action. i want to hold them accountable. can i do it without having prior notice given regarding my going rate? i have a recording of it all plus them going through my phone just because they wanted to...

They, the cops, regarding having to give prior Notice. You can give it there and then. if they continue they've accepted your terms. It need not be on paper ! Contract are Expressed in Writing, by Signs (actions) or Viva Voce (by voice/orally) . Why do you think the last part is in not in English?
