I just received a letter from STEWART title insurance.. the lawyers that closed the sale of my home 100 days ago made some mistakes in the accounting and the new owner received a tax bill and now this insurance company is claiming I owe them... I am so going to figure out how to record them... I am going to mess with these guys all year.. for learning purposes of course.. :)

HA HA, I love getting calls like this too! You really can hone your skills with these kind of people. Ask if this is a follow up call from 3 months ago, and then tell them that they were to get back to you in a couple of days and you are really upset that it took so long to return the call. HAVE FUN WITH THEM.

they called me last week i told them the person they were looking for was blind deaf and mute and that i was the sole authorized admin. They wanted to know if there was documentation confirming that i said of course . They wanted it faxed to their office ASAP. I told them i would agree to do that provided they can confirm that the person they wished to speak with did in fact consent to them acting as a third party in this matter

. . . Great! Hahaha. Last time I spoke to a Hector Collector they started "Blah blah blah collection. Are you blah blah?" I replied "if you or anyone else from your company calls here again regarding this matter I will be sending you a bill for my services rendered. Do you understand?" The caller replied "Blah blah blah." I continued numerous times "Do you understand?" until I heard said "Yes." and the hang up. Haven't heard for them in nearly a year.
