do you mean like the chicken pox or the flu one can not prevent it only deal with it after the fact? such as being enslaved is only not possible without eliminating the oppressor?
it is said one is allways and/or constantly at war, that liberty is a never ending battle because there will allways be others who try to take that away, either by force or deception.
both of those can be dealt with by knowledge and experience, by learning how to think and properly apply value. however i must admit there may be something else overlooked.
