I can't say I'm knowledgeable in American history, but having looked further into Benedict Arnold, he signed a declaration of principles vowing to fight for American Liberties as guaranteed under the under the british constitution. It seems that congress has been an issue for a long time. In these times whistleblowers and thinkers (those that know something isn't right and speak about it) are now the modern day traitors...the believers accept what they are told/programmed to believe and will fight and argue for that belief and the creators of those beliefs continue to push them :/
