I guess Derek and I are not friends - can't see the post. The larger issue is, "Why is it considered all right to attempt to trash someone in his own forum?" Some decorum please! Loser.
4chan has been around longer than Facebook, and is on a distributed back-end (globally). It was the first test of a distributed anonymous network. Like Bitcoin, it was NEVER meant to be as big as it is.
It has a HUGE cultural impact. Dogecoin was born there.
It's purpose is to create "Mind Viruses" (Which is what "meme" ACTUALLY means) these days. Who knows what it will be used for next.
There's also (among the confusing stuff you won't get) a lot of really disturbing shit there. It's not for the squeemish.
There is this whole "new" anti-bullying bullshit policy being implemented in the schools. They actually expelled a friend of my daughter for being part of a conversation that they deemed to be bullying..........NOT during school hours AND apparently she said nothing threatening. I HATE the victim bullshit all the anti-bullying bullshit propagates. Funny thing is all the adults who get involved usually do most of the bullying. Anyway, the picture you posted made me think of that. Long live Amanda. Oh wait, nevermind. She'll never know how famous she was.

Does anyone else have an interesting phenomenon happen to the "like" section on a comment? Sometimes, when I see a comment "liked" by some one and I put the arrow on it, it disappears. Weird.
