I have just finished reading through the entire thread there at bitcoin.org on the MAXCOIN. There seems to be a lot of haters posting. They are saying things about the developers are in it to pump and dump it. Also that normal people with basic computers are not going to be able to mine very many coins etc. Is there a chance Admiral Scott Duncan would take the time to peruse that thread and offer any commentary? It seems Max Keiser's intentions are good. People like Pete Daoust may not stand to gain much, given that this new coin wouldn't be too friendly to his monster setup.

Why do you care? This time next year there will be THOUSANDS of Crypto-currencies. Will Max Keiser pump-and-dump it... maybe. SO WHAT? If the one who commissions the currency can't be trusted, DON'T USE IT. Do you worry about Zimbabwe's currency? SAME THING. CURRENCIES ARE NOT INVESTMENTS.

Zachary Milton Sloan, stop revealing that you haven't bothered to read. So you have 5 minutes to explain: 1: What is Ethereum? 2: Why are there hundreds of currencies in the world, if what you are spewing is true? 3: Why are you here if you think that's true? Seriously. You are the second idiot today talking out of their ass. The last one tried to say "Bitcoin came from Darpa". NO SHIT STAINS. They consume too much time and all these things have been answered. SO, you have 5 minutes to answer those three questions... ...if I don't see the right answer, you and your "insight" can go elsewhere... via a tingling sensation.

So it's really all about the blockchain and making sure as many people as possible have access to it that is the real reason behind the creation of these experimental currencies? Is that accurate?

He who holds the gold makes the rules. All these people behind crypto are.trying to change that. Unfortunately whoever starts these currencies are the majority share holders in that change- could be good could be bad but def causes a lot of green envy

I want this CLEAR: ANYTHING that contradicts me, IS WRONG. It doesn't matter how butt-hurt you get about it. Reality doesn't care. ...and neither do I. I'm sick of repeating myself for those too lazy to read, and I have NO time to respond to asinine "theories". Keep them to yourselves.

Holy shit... what is this, a conspiracy to drive me nuts wist asinine theories? The last one I just fended off is "Dogecoin is created by Goldman Sachs". That one pisses me off. IT CAME FROM FUCKING 4CHAN. If your saying "Goldman Sachs created it" then you are saying that I work for Goldman Sachs too... ....anybody want to make that declaration here?

Why do the Conspiratard Government idiots think their lies mean ANYTHING to the Ethereum project? Do they REALLY think bad-mouthing it is going to somehow STOP it? Did it stop Crypto-Currencies? No? Then what idiotic thought process leads them to believe it will work against something that's effectively EXACTLY THE SAME? Do they think FUNDING is an issue? FUNDING means they can hire REAL TALENT, but the "Heavy Lifting" is done. I WISH I could hire developer staff, but I don't NEED to, and I run a global network! ...actually Daniel J Wentz does, but the point is clear. The CLOSEST they will ever get is that the Ethereum won't get the funding for full-time developers to bug-swat, and they will have to do it themselves... So it stays in BETA for an extra year; Big Fucking Deal

Yeah. I just think the word FUCKTARD sums things up pretty well. People are afraid of what they don't understand. I see it as a defense mechanism and/or just wishful thinking on their part. They haven't got the skill set or knowledge to benefit from it at this point.

OK. I need some pointers here please. I am looking liberate my notebook of it's blockchain related activities / mining. I would like to keep the Dogecoin mining going and prepare to possibly mine the maxcoin if I can get this together in time. I had a look at the wiki for CPU mining specs with the MaxCoin in mind. I am considering a motherboard with FM2+, A10 6800K and at least one slot for a decent GPU... I have a very limited amount available. The above spec would allow me to keep the DOGE coming in at about 4X what the laptop is currently doing and the CPU seems to be one of the best for CPU mining with the MaxCoin in mind there. Any words of wisdom on this?
