In some ways I do, in many I do not. I don't know if Scott plans to resume them. He may weigh in at some time.

I miss Scott talking and explaining concepts. He will sit all night and try to get a point across if even one person is listening (not the same apparently as paying attention). Often there are "gems of wisdom" that I haven't considered; and even after years of the luxury of being in his presence, there are things to learn. That takes his time, energy, expertise, and the suspension of anything else he may need to do. While you are free to attend, this is by no means free to produce. Many don't realize everyone here stops what they're doing also, to ensure there is no extra noise or disruption. Essentially everything here "waits" for "you". You would think people would be on their best behaviour for someone devoting his time, and that of others, for their benefit. However, people come in late, constantly request information on how to join the call (during the call), don't turn off their microphones (causing screeching feedback), constantly ask ridiculous questions; and say or type flippant, disruptive or nonsensical comments. It is obvious when someone has not read the available materials, and annoying when the same rudimentary concepts (available on the site) have to be explained again, and again, and again. Just because the call format is free form, and the tone casual, participants are not invited to be assholes. You may not know that Scott plans what he wants to accomplish from start to finish, one concept providing the building blocks for the next. Interruptions are distracting. Have you ever gone to the movies and heard someone yelling at another group of people to stop being disruptive? Everyone has. Yet in this forum it almost never happens. Why is this not valued as much as a two-hour, $20 trip to the movies? Anyway, this is my (not Scott's) long-winded explanation as to why I see no value in him continuing the conference calls without a meaningful change in the way people view and participate in them. If anyone has a counter to this position, I'm interested to hear it.

I have to say that many times i have tried to shut people up writing lame comments or questions as i hung off the Admiral's every word. I have the first audio in mp3 format and listen to it all the time. In fact i even know what parts to skip when he berates morons for interruping him.

I must value the wrong things and think wrong. I am still paying a mortgage and gearing up for another year of unionized slavery for worthless pieces of plastic that illegal immigrants came here and convinced me have immense value and i should trade all my labour for.

Hey, I was LISTENING during these calls, and I thought that it was the RIGHT thing to do, I could listen Scott Duncan speaking for days.....I was also listening whem I met with him and Ceit, and for me, it's not a natural thing to only LISTEN, I have to focus to achieve this.....

Honouring an obligation you entered into willingly does not, in my opinion, illustrate thinking wrong and valuing the wrong things. It might suggest more thinking and planning should have preceded the decision. Other issues you mention, while not ideal, can be temporary, but may be necessary in the short term to honour this, and other, commitments. If you don't like your situation, change it. I asked you to verify your previous statement as I was unclear whether it was true, or if it was meant to "soften" a negative statement about others. The point I was ultimately going to make (again) is that your only valuable resource is time. It is finite and non-renewable. You should care how you spend your time, and care when your time, or that of others, is being wasted. When Scott declares people "think wrong and value the wrong things" it is not an invitation to parrot back the obvious. It is a learning tool by which you might explore what you value, and to make changes if appropriate. If I were labelled an "idiot" for instance, I would try to understand why this was true and correct it. In possession of this information I would not then think all my issues could be explained away by declaring that I was "still an idiot".

To your point, Pete, if I'm trying to listen to someone, and other people are interrupting or disrupting my ability to hear it, you'll be sure I'm going to try to change this. It only takes one person blowing through a toilet paper tube to disrupt a conversation. Michael mentions he reviews an earlier call and fast-forwards through parts "when he berates morons for interrupting him". Why are these parts even there?

Scott's time is valuable to him, and to me, and to some others I'd wager. But everyone's time is valuable. Even if you're a moron your time is valuable, at least to you. As far as I know, everyone only has one (relatively insignificant) life.

As a super-deluxe bonus...the difference between "good" and "well". Good is an adjective. This means you correctly use it with a noun. Good job, good dog, good work, are all correct uses of the word. Well is an adverb, which means that it modifies verbs, adjectives, and other adverbs. Well, is well used in these situations, i.e. You speak English well.
