One of the big challenges, you only recognize once you've committed to acknowledging and identifying your programming, is that you don't know what you don't know. Of course before you can even attempt to identify the programming, you have to recognize the trance you're in. For the majority the trance creates a block or disconnect from being able to comprehend the deeper awareness behind the analogy that 2+2 = 4...you think you know what is being inferred, and aren't able to recognize what you are not comprehending. The conscious effort required is mental work and plenty of it.
