Now, this can be a funny thread, and I LOVE funny threads, mostly those filled with grafiiti (My graffitis :P )

Now, here�s what the LAW says :/

Whereas Canada is founded upon principles that recognize the supremacy of God and the rule of law:

so to me, it is clear that they used the word �GOD� and RECOGNIZED its supremacy, but again, I may miss the point, you know me ? :D

Let say I don�t miss the point, and this thing really means what I think it means :/

Now, I have a DUTY to find WHO is that �GOD� they are talking about, which it should be an EASY thing to do, well, it should �.NO ?? But I have no idea, so I thought I might ASK, in fact, it�s the ONLY logical thing to do, I have NO other options, so I ask.

And Peter MacKay seems to be the one to ask�..

Dear Peter MacKay, After starting a process on educating myself, regarding the LAW, in Canada, I would like to ask you one question, to make sure I UNDERSTAND clearly.

The Charter says: Whereas Canada is founded upon principles that recognize the supremacy of God and the rule of law:

So, since my INTENT is to obey the law, because everyone is to obey the law, and no one is above the law, I would like to know WHO is this �GOD� that Canada recognized the supremacy of.

I really need to know, if there is ONE god, or if you have a list of �GODS� that I can choose and pick from.

I recognize and fully accept your Oath of office, and I know you will get back to me with an answer.

"principles that recognize the supremacy of God and the rule of law" Since as you have pointed out that it does not mention which God, and if there is only one, whose perspective of God is applicable. Is it also safe to assume that the rule of law refer's to God's laws, whichever God that might be?

Maybe you have uncovered the cause of ALL the world's problems.

If they talk about the supremacy of a Christian God, is that discrimination against a Muslim God, or Pagan Gods, or Hindu Gods?...

Does it include the lesser Gods, minor deities etc...this could open A LOT of lawsuits for exclusion, non inclusion and outright discrimination...

Maybe you wan to add the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (that Canada is a signatory to), Article 18:

'Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion; this right includes freedom to change his religion or belief, and freedom, either alone or in community with others and in public or private, to manifest his religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship and observance.'

Does that mean, if you can change religion at will, you can CHANGE the supremacy of God at will? :P

I'm interested to see which ones & how 'supreme' they are :D

supreme adj. 1. Greatest in power, authority, or rank; paramount or dominant. 2. Greatest in importance, degree, significance, character, or achievement. 3. Ultimate; final: the supreme sacrifice.

Maybe you can suggest a battle of the Gods type thing...MMA style to find out Canada's supreme God...does it change every year if a new God wins?
