I made it my new years resolution to get to the bottom of what money is. 11 months in, and I still haven't seen any. Just a bunch of receipts and evidence of debt. Render for law... Value? Rights for value. That's all payment is, isn't it? I give rights to take this computer if I don't perform on the agreement that affords me the value of using it. The person who got that right in exhange for this computer is the one I "paid."
