A drone wouldn't stay in the air then. Armour = weight. Weight=something aircraft don't like.

I was more refering to shielding on wires and cables, inside the aircraft, you know those overall braid and foil shield on wires, that has a fucntion of draining electrostatic interference scrap.....or noise, or anything from the OUTSIDE that could fuck up the instruments... :)

Well they seem to be dropping out of the sky a lot, so if you get the chance, take a look inside one. The cabling is already pretty hefty.

There have been a few X class solar flares of late. Possibly EMP interference bringing then down? I'd be keen to take a look inside. Of particular interest to me is the IMU & FC system. You already have two in your possession Admiral? Did those happen to have payloads? ;-)

I can bring them down manually. FUN FACT: Avionics in military drones are open source. ;)

Bring them down or take full control? Either way those are some mad skills to have. Surely Uncle Sam goes looking for his hellfire party poppers when they go missing?

I have been building my own for a couple of years now. Only recently getting into open source stuff. Like Law Im playing catch up getting my brain around the coding side of things...I have lost a few early on due to buggy firmware but unlike the military my drones haven't killed anyone!

This model that crashed is worth 16,000, 000.... I say that would be a worthy venture, Scott.
