I don't see any circles: circle (srkl) n. 1. A plane curve everywhere equidistant from a given fixed point, the center

Oh well, in the interests of full disclosure, it may be time I felt the tingly sensation: I was a Chiropractor for 18 years. My focus was based around improving spinal biomechanics and posture, which has various knock on benefits, some subjective, some objective. My focus was on the objective/measurable changes, Ranges of motion, postural improvement over time, increased grip strength etc. Yes, there is a lot of pseudoculture in Chiropractic, as there is in medicine & the various health professions. A philosophy on health/treatment modalities & methods is what allows the formation of a hypothesis and null hypothesis. The scientific method then either validates or invalidates these. A responsible profession then adapts its methods accordingly. In some areas, Chiropractic as a profession acts responsibly, in others it needs to act more rapidly. My aim was to focus on verifiable change, following which patients often reported various other subjective/quality of life benefits. If this disclosure results in the tingly thing, then I thank everyone in advance for the information, knowledge & resulting clarity & confidence I have developed to ward off those who wish me harm. Peace.

No. You don't "believe" it, inasmuch as you wanted to quantify the data, and reproduce the results. That's called "science".

Also in the interests of full disclosure, I have experimented with MOST of the items listed here. I, previously, had beliefs tied to some of these practices. When it came time in my TT4L education to look at my beliefs and analyze belief vs. knowledge, it became apparent that I had NO foundation to secure ANY theory on. However, I can say for sure that since I have started seeing a Chiropractor, I have had measurable positive changes. My initial complaints were upper back pain and shoulder pain. I could barely throw a softball and I was using my wrist to compensate for a week shoulder. X-rays revealed that I had 3 ribs out of place. ( Stuart Stone, I am sure you know what this means more than I do, yes?) After 3 months of seeing the Chiropractor, the velocity of my throwing was significantly increased and without pain for the first time in 4 years. It worked.

As Scott says, quantifying data, observable changes over time, improved function etc are all measurable facets of what Chiropractic offers...the quality of life benefits you have received are a positive side effect :D I love a win win!

Only a few things up there that I am still holding on to, in the realm of my beliefs. None of which I feel confident in divulging here publicly lol. I will have to go back and read up on them, but the only reason I haven't ruled them out as realty was because lack of proof. So technically I never thought they were real, I just FELT like they were, which really means jack.

Extreme lower back pain forced ME to look further at possibilities of getting something to, at the very least, aliviate the pain without consuming big pharma's miracle poision's. Thank fuck i took the advice of a long haul truck/lorry/tractor driver, after trying chiro unsuccessfully, and went and got some chinese doc. to have his fun with the little needles. I went from someone who could not even tie up his shoe laces to someone who could function once again. Fact tells ME that it was due to accupuncture. It could be percieved that i was suffering from the placebo effect yet that never has worked on me. If this is a shitstain and the tingle stick is my due's then so be it, my fact won't change.

I live in a world filled with adults with imaginary friends, that consider such things "normal". I'm told by these adults with imaginary friends, that I am less because of it, and most think it's their right to harm me. The courts, and legal system come from the church. Wherever there is a parliament, there is a church. Ever notice when the US "Liberates" (Invades) a country, they NEVER EVER install THEIR system of government which separates church and state? Why is that? ;) I have recently been accused of running a "cult" even though my particular "cult" encourages critical thought, and the removal of presumption. Ever since I started teaching the masses, I have notice a steady campaign to demonstrate that I'm somehow "less" and it's OK to ignore the rules, because somehow I "don't deserve" such consideration. Whether it's the courts/cops stealing my home at gunpoint, or Idiots like Derek Hill passing himself off as an "expert" with materials I compose, its just a predisposition that I somehow have fewer rights than everyone else. I intend to collect that debt VERY soon. Interesting times ahead.

"I predicted my friends future 2 months before it happened? How can anyone explain that?" - Easily. In fact if you want to understand it fully, look at the works of Dr. Richard Wiseman, and Dr Michael Shermer.

Well one used to believe in things... most of which were sought out after the medical system as is, could not provide relief, and some of it worked... :-D That being said, today I am back to where I was in my youth, reality based. I investigate, think and ponder as opposed to looking for signs and wonders...
