I smell a rat. How would we know why they called you or what their true intent is. I personally record everything when they call. If you have the # they called from, call them back, record the convo and post it here. They already know you, and everything you post. I suspect they will offer you tickets to the Super Bowl and render you when you come to collect.

No, it was my cell which I also use for business. She called from a restricted number and said "Hi, is Chris there?" I said "This is Chris" and then she went into her spiel.

How can they call CHRIS, if he is in CUSTODY of the court? It would be impossible for CHRIS to answer a phone call, much less meet.

If you notified them of intent to sue, anything you say or do can and will be used against you in a court of law. They are attempting to gather evidence. Also, whenever I answer my phone and a voice I don't recognized asks for ROGER, I ask "Who am I speaking with?"

Roger, I never said I notified them of intent to sue. I use my cell for business too, so I get calls everyday from people I don't know.

Didn't you say you threatened them with a Title 18 color of law violation? That's notice of intent. Also, it isn;t rude to ask who is calling when someone asks for you on your business phone. Its professional, in my humble opinion.

I sent the a Notice NOTIFYING of a Title 18 violation, but it was not a Notice of Intent to sue. And I agree, but I usually expect clients and if they ask for Chris I say that it is me. Capacity, or which Chris, can be determined later.

Yeah, who's to say some stranger didn't ick up your phone and just agree to be "Chris?" I think that notice of violation must have raised a flag, put them on defense, and the reason for the call was to gather evidence. Just like interrogatories. This lawyer must have thought I was stupid, or maybe he's just an idiot, but he sent me a list of questions asking me to prove his claim, after responding to my requests for evidence of a contract irellevent to a case falling under contract law... I'm getting paid for that one.

That is what I think too....I also suspect it was for feeling me out.

I submitted to the courts the same notification of a Title 18 violation, I haven't had any calls from the FBI. However, a friend of mine who has issued several BoE's and a notice of a Title 18 violation with a traffic ticket did receive a call from the FBI. They wanted a phone interview or to meet face to face with him. He asked the agent to mail him a certified copy of his oath of office along with a copy of the questions that the agent wanted to ask. He told the agent once he received his oath and the questions, had a chance to look the documents over he then MIGHT be willing to speak with them. The agent declined, and my friend hasn't heard from the FBI again. It's been over a year.

Wow.... yup evidence gathering I think.....but the FBI??? Dude what did you do to get involved with them? The stuff here at the TFL is serious material, NoM is a very power full document, I send one of those to a financial institution which continuously addressed me and made demands.Jus a NoM nothing else and all demands and threats have stopped....every now and then I get invitations to call them and reestablish joinder but that's about it......point is I am not very advanced with the stuff here at the TFL and managed to make them shut them up, imagine the content covered here in much brighter and fresh minds....it never was a question if, rather when....

I think it has to do with the fact I notified all parties that a Color of Law 18 USC 241,242 violation may have occurred. Here is what I sent them....Affidavit, NoM, BC, COL violation warning. So, it must be one of those.

oddly enough the actual role of the FBI is internal police investigating. you should set up a public meeting with a witness and a video recorder. i'll be happy to attend. dont forget the conditional acceptance, in gold per hour.

I thought about that David Johansen, but then I thought I could conduct my own investigation with a third party witness (notary) if needed. I figure keeping them out of all of my business would be best! :-)

Its come to my attention that a FBI agent would NOT call from a restricted line. Since I have ZERO experience with FBI agents, can anyone confirm or deny this? It also came to my attention that IF they wanted to talk to me, they would not call, they would show up. Is this true?

If it is real important, they will come to you.... Just saying.... I would not respond in any fashion if it were me.

OK, I've got this one... If someone calls claiming to be Police/Government, tell them that you think they are lying and that you don't believe them. Ask for their extension, so you can call in through the main line.
