I was given these from my mom who had them tucked away for years, referring back to the 1867 bna act, these books have some juicy stuff in them which I am thinking it is useful esp in regards to the powers of government.

the original BNA act in the pre-amble Queen Victoria clearly stated no Canadians would pay income tax!
