THAT was AWESOME. OK I am really computer stupid (ignorant may be a little more precise). Where do I learn the first step to mining?

That was the first time I ever heard of Mintchip

. it takes up a lot of information on your computer so if its an old computer may kill it. Bitcoin mining

And what is old? I have a mac from around 2005.

Sorry a Macbook

I think it overheated mine

Your MacBook?

No just a computer. A regular laptop etc does not have the power to do very much bit mining

I suggest you don't try this because I think it would break your computer

Hmmm. I wonder if there is a computer that is not expensive and could just mine.

I am also curious about the cap. Does bitcoin have the ability to be divided fractionally? Not sure if I am wording that correctly. But, for example, can a bitcoin be halved, quartered, etc?

I saw a vid where a transaction between two guys at a gas station where it was for .3 bitcoins or something like that..

So why the reward computers for solving problems? What are the problems being solved for?

Thank you Jeff Roggers.
