"The US military, who build and own the GPS..."Scott Duncan So the US military is the first to identify our location and all service providers request this information be passed on to them. Do service providers need to demonstrate that they have our consent to have our GPS info, or is it given without this requirement?" In essence, this seems to indicate all service providers are essentially working for/assisting the US military to track us when they build GPS infrastructure.

No. It doesn't work like you are thinking. Learn to read the schematic. This makes the "TIME" variable more precise. GPS is more accurate when you know what time it is. The CONSUMER GPS is just crippled MILITARY GPS... What's the difference? One knows what time it is, better than the other. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p2BxAu6WZI8

the only reason I couldn't do the schematics is cuz I don't know what the voltage is being fed to it

The consumer GPS is "crippled" because it does not account the warping of space and time which fluctuates due to altitudes, while the military GPS does account for this, as does this hardware? Sorry, I can't read the schematic and am further confused by a statement in the first video where Bill says if an atomic clock (exceptionally accurate) is not employed, (consumer) GPS systems would be off by as much as 300 km while my consumer device in my "smartphone "reads my location quite accurately. Back to school

Voltage is largely irrelevant. The less the better. 28 volts? What kind of battery does THAT? Did you even read the article? The whole point is that we can do it ourselves.
