Facebook has an excellent API, which dynamically generates JavaScript to pass to the CLIENT SIDE. One of my posts is a "honeypot" that has VERY verbose monitoring.
If you are silent, but diligent (Only the most dedicated readers will find the post in question), then I WILL SEE YOU and since it's CLIENT-SIDE (JavaScript), I know a LOT more than you are probably comfortable with.
