There is no remedy. Personally, I target individuals who participate in it, against me. If you act against my interests, I'll wait a few years, and then cripple you (kneecaps drilled out, cut off foot, etc.) and then I slaughter your children. They work for the government. Their offspring lives off of YOUR victimization. So if you are a Lawyer/Officer or any such agent who has wronged me personally... Don't get too attached to those children. ;)

Amusing response however until this is off my bureau, I will still make every effort for them to retract it and then, and only then, will I allow it to be in the past. That said, Equifax continues to allow what I deem slanderous being I am not involved with the ICBC claim. ICBC will not talk with me about it as they know it is not mine and say it is against their privacy policy. Equifax has held a dispute for over 2 years with nothing new since. What about a "cease and desist"?

As long as it is on my credit history, they inform others it is mine. This directly effects my credit ratings.

Well....that is TRUE, the credit rating you're talking about is the PERSON's credit rating, the person you happen to have in your pocket, that same person that the government created, so therefor, it' THEIR'S.....they are surety for it, so by informing them, you may help the person. Unless you THINK that you are the person, and you are the surety of THE person... ? :/
