Fuck everything about this. This is the beginning of the end.

Legal Site Groklaw Shuts Down Rather Than Face NSA in Heartrending Post

For the last 10 years, if you wanted to understand a complex legal issue in the news, your first stop was Groklaw. A free, open source exchange of theories and ideas, Groklaw has been an invaluable resource for lawyers and laymen alike. Last night, its owner pulled the plug. It was a matter of priva...

The need for OPEN realistic learning is getting greater each day, but the avenues for such are being chewed up. Soon all the smart ones will be holed up and shut up while the rest remain truly slaves therefor making us slaves beside them. Sad. :(

Something big must be happening. All sorts of crazy shit is going on all over the world. Harper's set to PROROGUE in CANADA again at the same time the Middle East is in turmoil, as there is some sort of event planned in FEMA zone 3 (USA) around the same time... Over here (Thailand)the majority in Parliament is refusing to allow the opposition to debate, resulting in chaos in Parliament - brawls with the boys in brown protecting the "majority" (bought and paid for election) Rumors are flying of another coup here.. Fukushima, Sakurijima... Earthquakes. All a coincidence? Shit's hit the fan !

While disturbing, knowing that once the American Intel agencies became aware of the internet, they supported it's development, it's not at all surprising, and, was quite predictable more than 30 years ago. US Intel agencies have an extensive history of demanding back door access, as well as encryption keys etc. In the States, for example, privacy via encryption has long been held as MUNITIONS, and, the government has full control over it. Consider this from Wikipedia: In 2013, an article on Zimmerman's Law quoted him as saying "The natural flow of technology tends to move in the direction of making surveillance easier, and the ability of computers to track us doubles every eighteen months."

Reminds me of Noami Klein and the steps she identified that dictators use for closing a democracy. Silencing rebels and dissidents is one of the final steps before incarcerating and disappearing those that didn't heed the "warning".

We are NOT all Scorpions Dean Clifford, some of us will make sure that those who trust us, won't have to suffer from our actions......

Let say I have a customer base of 3000 people, and I KNOW for a fact that what's going on in my website can HARM them and/or used against them, I will shut off that website, not because I am a coward, juts because I dont want my actions to harm others..

But on the other end, sometimes getting harmed, is the best way to become stronger and AWAKE !!!.....mmmmhhhh !!!!!

Nature is Nature.

Today is a sad day for me. I contend that we should consider putting the TFL Flag at half mast today. :(

As someone who joined the military at 17, thinking I was a defender of all that is good and right in the world"; the following causes me great emotional pain. To state the obvious, IT JUST ISN'T FAIR!

In my humble opinion, given the shananigans the elites have been up to, this may very well represent the most important of all the David and Goliath battles in our time. It is a symbol of all that is wrong and all the wrong that is coming.

On the one hand, OUR PRIVACY must be infringed in today's post 911 world, while THEIR PRIVACY must be considered "the holy of holys". There must be a hole somewhere in that legal argument.

Could the PUNDITS in this group provide any help to this hero? Is the governments legal knot just too advanced for even the very best amongst us? I understand that this could scare away even the bravest and most capable legal rebels amongst us.

As in the film Good Will Hunting, The gauntlet has been dropped!
