My understanding, is because a married couple is considered one 'person', then the other party is the state...either party can terminate the relationship/contract at any time (like any contract), BUT my biggest question is this:

How are the goods and chattels then divided up? (especially as any product of the union is considered chattel property- I'm thinking specifically about the issue of children being taken by the state)

They would have to "duke" it out :D

Scenario: You & I engage in a business contract....we work together for say 7 years and then the contract is voided for whatever reason...

What office of government do you write to in order to have the proper persons respond/react/direct/approve provide whatever next step is necessary? And further what if we cannot find the marriage certificate, how is it sourced, traced, addressed, verified etc?
