Void is powerful... especially on an original... If you have a certified copy you have the power to make a new original and void that..

My understanding, is because a married couple is considered one 'person', then the other party is the state...either party can terminate the relationship/contract at any time (like any contract), BUT my biggest question is this: How are the goods and chattels then divided up? (especially as any product of the union is considered chattel property- I'm thinking specifically about the issue of children being taken by the state)

If you void the contract the obligation to the state ends. So perhaps your property will remain yours...

Scenario: You & I engage in a business contract....we work together for say 7 years and then the contract is voided for whatever reason... If we don't have an agreement in place as to how the chattel property is to be divided (prior to our terminating our agreement), then we either agree, negotiate or 'duke' it out as Beverly Girl-Brain Braaksma suggested. Does the state already have an exit clause in place, or do they just presume that they control and/or own the chattel property & it's up to us to negate these presumptions (as in Notice of Mistake re children/person/chattel property etc)?

I'm guessing Beverly Girl-Brain Braaksma, the motivation for voiding the contract is to extract yourself & have the chattel property (children) removed from the jurisdiction of the state?

Of course these reasons to believe are based on some recent information I've received from Scott Duncan and Dean Clifford...... You have 30 days to send to me FULL DISCLOSURE of this Marriage business deal. If I don't receive an answer from YOU, me and Nadine will consider this MARRIAGE nul and void. And as Dean says, "I was not given full disclosure regarding the license" is kind of a big thing ;) ... You didn't know you were entering into a legal contract with the STATE, which would allow them to govern the affairs of your marriage - till death do you part :) You just did it because you were 'coerced' by your pastor; by the STATE; by everyone you've ever known your entire life, and of course alcohol, into believing you MUST have a marriage license, when in fact, nothing could be further from the truth. You just wanted to have sex with the guy, but your pastor said you'd go to hell and burn-burn-burn for all eternity if you didn't get married first ;) You are a victim :)
