Sure what's not to love? when we die we get to be happy in the clouds, so we only really have to suffer our whole lives first because this book I haven't bothered reading for myself says so and the Pedophile in the funny suit told me so without laughing :D

Mick Parker

Hoverboards would be so coool :D i'm begining to think the manipulation is inevitable maybe even necessary? Those who think will inevitably steer. This has been history, peoples lacking addicts them to saviors... this is their ruin, if you try to kill it to save them, they will kill you to save it :/

Mick Parker

I appologise for sharing this, it is really disturbing but the reality of the world we live in, methods used by "the west" don't make us any better.. just more refined ...with drones, results are the same. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rFs3G1jQWIU

"Believe" can turn even the "smartest" into quite dumb people. I myself am a BIG example.

I came to this group as a "believer". Once here, I heard Scott bashing "christianity" (and all other forms of belief, as Scott is an equal opportunity "belief-bashing-machine"), I started asking questions. Questions, that before, my brain wouldn't even dare going there.

THEN it all just came crumbling down. There were no logical/factual explanation for ANY of my questions, other than acknowledging that what Scott, Andrew, and many others said IS TRUE.

I was miserable for quite some time afterwards. Very angry. Angry at myself.

The feeling of "guilt" that religion had planted in my brain, I HATED IT! I hated been "good", yet feeling I was always screwing-up to my imaginary sky-daddy. I had MANY years of complete misery.

Now I CAN SLEEP WELL AT NIGHT, the feeling of NOT worrying about non-existent problems/rules is one of the greatest gifts I have received from Scott Duncan, and TTFL.

THIS IS AWESOME! :)

Very nice Max!

I had a huge awakening in here too. I never believed in God, but I did believe what I WANTED to. Same difference. I used to believe ALL the conspiracy stuff. Now, I HAVE to prove whatever is in my brain. If I am wrong, it is a learning experience and I won't be wrong in the same way. i have replaced and am continue to replace ANY belief with KNOWLEDGE. Its is WAAAAAYYYY fucking better!

Stuart Stone

Thanks Sil Eile, as much as that is bloody disturbing, it brings further clarification that most people are totally messed up by belief systems (me included...I'm still doing the pruning), but more scary is that they are willing to destroy others because their belief systems differ...

What bothers me most from all this, is after they have condemned, destroyed, tortured, maimed, murdered etc, they then claim to be the righteous good guys....this video was just a very small scale version of what western superpowers are doing virtually every day, either actively through invasion, war etc or passively by poisoning water supplies, introduced chemicals into the foodchain etc & various other methods we're probably totally unaware of.

It further imprints into my brain the Scottism that 'ALL BELIEF IS EVIL'.

Ok ok, but the article said ""Intelligent people typically spend more time in school - a form of self-regulation that may yield long-term benefits," Is anyone seriously suggesting that this is valid? C'mon...long term benfits? What, liike improved mind cntrol?

Georgia Davidson

A persons atheism could not possibly be proof of their intelligence. If it were, then most of the great philosophers of Western history, almost all the leaders of the scientific revolution, and the majority of the founders of historys greatest and freest democracies, were non-thinking dunces.

Scott Duncan

Yes, except those "great philosophers" would be killed if they dared say "there is no God" while adults with imaginary friends ruled.

No human who ACTUALLY thinks (not pseudo-thought, like you) is NOT an atheist. ONLY the weak-minded thinks "god did it" is an acceptable answer.

Fuck off with the bullshit that religion forwarded science in ANY way. That's just a lie you theists made up. Thanks for outing yourself though.

We have prepared a slight tingling sensation for your enjoyment (no it's not the rapture), followed by a nice holy Jesus version of...

BANNED!

Tara Duncan

And now a short personal vignette:

I was ordering food in a restaurant and the proprietor took it upon himself to point to a woman and mention that she brings in her little daughter frequently. He said it was SO SAD that the little girl spent all her time focused on talking to, and feeding, a stuffed animal. "They're just not right in the head", he said sadly.

I looked at him and said, "You're a religious man, aren't you?" He proclaimed that indeed he was.

So I asked him to consider that he was making derogatory comments about a little girl with a stuffed animal which actually existed, while he was an adult with an imaginary friend.

In case anyone's wondering how he reacted, he looked vaguely confused, walked into a corner and stood there.

Chris Evan

Wouldn't it have just been easier to click "Leave Group" rather than write this?

Scott Duncan

Oh this place is FILLED with "Stealth Christians". They rationalize that Jesus sent them to the evil, yet honest atheist, because this is the only place any real answers exist.

And it doesn't sell you anything.

Scott Duncan

If you think imaginary sky-daddies are real, ask them. You do not deserve to have your intellectual bankruptcy profit from anything I have to say.

I don't care if Zombie Jesus the Holy Rape Baby, "gives you comfort", it doesn't make him less pretend.

The Pirate Mohammed (feces be upon him) was a pedophile rapist, and is considered "perfect". The "Religion of Peace" is an evil ignorant violent misogynist ideology that will kill for their psychopathic imaginary friend. Read their "Holy" book (Qu'ran), and their "Holy Guides" (Hadiths) and see how much is dedicated to "unbelievers" and what a "peaceful muslim" must do to those "unbelievers". This isn't a book of "stories", it's an INSTRUCTION MANUAL.

Imaginary sky-daddies breed ignorance and violence. ALWAYS. I simply will not abide it here.

Scott Duncan

Some will say "God is making Scott Duncan tell the truth", and that only THEY have free will... Their imaginary friend is "making me"... I have no free will and Magic Sky Daddy is controlling my actions... because he works in "mysterious ways".

Here in reality: Adults with imaginary friends are stupid. They also have to choke on the ugly reality, that I give more than their all powerful sky-daddy ever will. Choke on that, you fucking nazis. I'm BETTER than you Allah, Yahweh, and/or Jesus... Oh, and Jehova too... can't forget that stupid figment.

Tell me theists... How do you live in brains that small?

Scott Duncan

C'MON THEISTS! I don't charge money, for telling the truth, so public ridicule of your delusions is the ONLY "payment" I get, so PAY YOUR BILLS, theists!

Come on! Speak up! Which idiotic imaginary friend do YOU have?

Why doesn't Jesus ever "heal" amputees?

Mick Parker

nothing here is rebut able, it is all self evident, logical or procedural, nobody could question the pages honesty ethic. whether the cops/law society or whoever reads the page it doesn't stop us discussing facts ... & them being true... we have nothing to fear ... they have ;)
