I got a parking ticket last night, I don't remember seeing a thread but my thoughts are sending them a notice of mistake? ...or in this case would a notice rejecting their offer to contract be more effective ?...would that be sent to the town offices or to the court?

It probably all depends if you want to just make it go away, or for shits & giggles see what response a low key approach gets, then up the ante until you reach your outcome.

I'm ahead of you, I did that, and they've just sent me a BoE and telling me that a PERSON decided to enter a plea for me :D

Now, I am asking them, in writing, WHO entered a plea for my PERSON and what is his address and inscription number :D

I would have a Notice of Mistake on hand anyways, notarized... Everyone that I know that has sent back a ticket "no contract" or "void", they just send back a court date... Send the notice with it...

Thanks for that Scott Duncan. I have not done it yet because I am not sure of which angle to take. 1) The books of the Land. Or from 2) The books of the Government or 3) The books of Me. I get stumped on that part. I really think it should be The books of the land with the Government and people being the customers.

I admit this is my presumption, but let's say that the vehicle tagged had a sticker on its plate. Will the parking violation remain attached as a matter of record to the licence plate, and when the party attempts to apply for sticker renewal, will the parking violation amount be added to the sticker renewal fee even if one responded with NO CONTRACT, NoM etc?

in other words, what does one do then? As the violation fee reamins attached to the sticker/plate during the passage of time....and if that renewal comes up....well, it's not gonna happen unless the full amount+ violation fee is settled, no?

I only think of what Scott Duncan SCREAMS ..ALL...the time. (Is the Man trying to tell us something?) He has that phrase permanently copied on the clipboard ready for immediate deployment with a 2lb. trigger pull. So thinking about that the conclusion I came to is that I hear *law, writs, orders, summons yaddayadda* when I should be thinking, Law equates to what in Accounting? Writs equate to what in Accounting and so on. Thought it would be a good idea to start thinking in Accounting terms when I hear Legal words.

As questions negate understanding and also shows an attempt to take care of this honorably? Please let me have no tingling sensation.

I refuse for cause unless they can clarify the conditions they are offering , I also tell them that since they epect me to work for this I charge them 50 bucks an hour for my time in processing . So " refused for cause and clariication " across the face and on the back I bill them for time .

It was Tara's response to someone who had mistakenly tried to form hostile intent against her. She did a Mock-Up of National Geographic, and wrote a FEATURE ARTICLE on the "Preening North American Cam Slut" (Duplicitus Sluttus). That's because National Geographic has a sense of humour. The Canadian Wildlife Fund threatened to sue us for the "Hinterland Who's Who" spot we were making...

Parties quickly resolved all disputes, lest Tara put REAL effort into the blow-back. :D Good Times. :D

parking ticket. they are attempting to enjoin your auto in a contract, they placed a copy of it on it. I told them they can not charge me a fee to use land that I OWN, and they voided the ticket. (more to it than that but that is basically it in a nutchel.
