my understanding is the queen is the sovereign, (which gives her the the power and the authority to make and enforce the law of the land) . and we have a relationship with her that is mutual, in that we are free under her (providing we don't harm or steal), and she in return protects that freedom....so we are both working towards freedom and removing anything that stands in the way of that freedom?
