My own fault has been/is still at time waiting/looking for 'permission' to do something, the indoctrination of perceived authority, kind of a variation of the Stockholm syndrome/appealing to the rapist mentality. It's a tough habit to break completely (I still slip up sometimes), but what I have realised is that it is vested in belief, which then removes the capacity for independent thought, creating a false valuing of the opinions/rules of others, most of whom wish me harm...which is/has been a major symptom of wrong thinking & valuing the wrong things...and this has just been the tip of the iceberg

Stop picking and choosing. ALL belief is evil. Start there. Walk through a whole day and see what's true and what is merely belief. The majority can't know very many "true" things because they can't think, and most of them have imaginary friends. Everything you get from them is merely "belief".

The MOST important, and VALUABLE information I have gained from TTFL Group is precisely realizing I " think wrong and value the wrong things". Which I would also read/analyze backwards: I value the wrong things, therefore, I think wrong. We were programmed with a really crappy software that assigns value to the incorrect information, and subtracts, and/or even nullifies value from certain information. That's why things are "hidden at plain sight", and we can't see. BELIEF is an application for that program (with the crappy software) that dictates HOW is that we are to process, and/or assign value the information given. Thank you for turning my life into constant misery, Scott Duncan. PS: Excellent post, Beverly. Pearls to the swines.

I own and opperate a consulting agency that makes money interpretting and navigating government regulations & rules...ludicrous rules=increased profit. I value "money" and I'm constantly "think"-ing of ways to make more of it. I know there's something off in the whole system...but, the comfort and luxuries that are afforded by it (when you figure out how to make a profit) is intoxicating.

it's totally true, just try asking anyone in retail if they know what a silver dollar coin is, if they ever seen one, and if they grasp the fact that it's worth exactly the same today as it was 50 years ago (worth in goods exchange)... most people will not believe you when you tell them they are being deceived, even when you show proof of work. they dont want to believe because that is proof that they are idiots, and nobody likes being told they are an idiot. except US because WE SEEK THE TRUTH nomatter how hard a pill it is to swallow.

EVERYONE is. Hormones, Testosterone's. the chemicals that made you from your father and mother, DNA. Then your parents telling you or suggesting to you what you should be later on in life while you kick the walls surrounding you. Encouraged to kick more or berated to kick less or at certain times. The food and drink regulated as your parents see fit good or bad. Everything to make you who you are today was started in the womb and even after you have lived your life and died people will still try to program you by way of "Oh he was a sweet child but wish he wasn't so opinionated or direct in his manners." We are all programmed from the very begining. The important question is What parts and types of programming can We change. Belief in what others believe is probably up there at the top of the list of important ones to.... "Reprogram"

"You think wrong and value the wrong things" ??? (You think wrong)....... 1) Is Thinking wrong really Thinking poorly? Or, is just not Thinking but merely Reacting without thought to facts and consequences? Something like instinctively coming to a conclusion? 2) Or is Thinking wrong just Blindly coming to a conclusion with no basis what so ever? (Value the wrong things) 1) Is this ment from Valuable Consideration such as needs or desires or monetary in nature? 2) Or is it ment from the Belief of a Value such as Market Value, Book Value or Salable Value? All these are derived from Accepting Belief of what someone else says. Where in the true value is simple what is accepted for when an exchange takes place and IS DONE. What I Believe is the Value is just plain shitte. The Value is what it is at the Exchange of Goods Services whatever the value is only what I give it. The chainsaw had a Value of $150.00 when I exchanged some notes for it. The chainsaw now has a Value of assisting me by cutting trees in a most efficient manner in which I may heat my home and cook with. The chainsaw now does not work. It is of No Value to me anymore. Now Scott wants some wood cut and he is good fixing broken things, he decides it,s value to him at $30.00, he makes me an offer, I accept. He gets chainsaw I get bullets for the value of the notes which don't even touch my hands as I ask Scott to give it to the clerk who gives me the bullets. I now shoot myself in the head testing the bullets to see if they have real value. Scott thinks the stupid factor of my actions has great value as comedy and amusement. The clerk just sees expense as he now has to clean up more mess but still receive the same value as before for his time spent. The bullets are great! Excellent value for the notes it cost me.

The Value in monetary terms only exists at the point of exchange. Then the Value becomes something else. We do not value monetary but rather we value what the monetary can do for us. (What we want it to accomplish, end result) Value is something we are willing to give up, exchange for something else. Your house has no value to me unless I am willing to give something up for it or you allow me to live in it. The value would be Maybe I am closer to work and don't have to spend as much time traveling to work. (See that "spend" part? My time is the value to me and I willing to exchange whatever for it in a certain amount.) I Value my time getting to and from work more then I value the time it takes me to work for the notes you want. The VALUE 'to me' is the difference.

Money has value but also everything else does too. Question is, what are going to use as the exchange mechanism ? Or you could just Barter, in which case the actual products become in and of themselves the Value of exchange.

I physically can not use an axe, chainsaw I can handle. So I get my heat from the chainsaw yet will never see heat produced from the axe. The is of no value to me, the chainsaw has value to me BUT only while I'm using it otherwise it just sits there doing nothing. Now if, IF I rent out my chainsaw while I am not using it the the chainsaw has value in and of it self. (How many people are watching this laughing away while drinking eating and getting Mary?)

Hey....Pete Daoust, it is not that I think you are wrong in what you say. It IS that I think that a member has asked us individually to tell the board what we each think Scott Duncan means when he says a phrase. (See OP) We might even be right, only Scott Duncan knows. It is a good question the OP brings up, as Scott repeats that phrase many times and with vigour too I might add. ONLY Scott Duncan knows the answer. (Can you read Scott Duncan's mind?) No, I did not think so. We can spout crap for the next 20 years and in the end as to the OP it really is just our opinions UNTIL Scott "TELLS" us what he means when he says that phrase. To think otherwise is to be foolish. I love leading you on, you made me win a bet. The OP is not about what you can convince others of but rather your own opinion of a specified matter. Pete Daoust! You are right! Nothing I have heard from you is wrong! The above might be true I DO NOT KNOW! Most of the time I do not know what you are talking about, or even if it pertains to the OP! You want to be heard, I can understand that. Continue to be heard. Tick.....Tick.....Tick

Now Scott can tell us or.......not tell us resulting in us thinking about it and by doing so it opens our minds to further learning and inquiry. Now back to the OP, We where asked what "WE" think Scott means. If you read the OP it is not being asked what "Scott actually means". To be very blunt and in your face, We are being asked for our opinion to something that can never be verified without Scott speaking up. But Scott was never asked in the OP as to what he means by what he says. Nuff said.

Yes, that's why I have a chair "Rail" around my place. They get every thing provided for them and more. They have the Right to leave anytime they want or Stay as they choose. They have a virtual Boarding Pass 24 hours a day. The Galley is open 24/7. The Head is kept clean for their enjoyment and use. The Decks are kept clean and clutter free. They have all their "Bills" taken care of from the ships account. They are Given Disbursements as can be afforded for their own personal use. The First Officer is cute and fuckable and even performs her other duties very well. The passengers are happy and content with the Accommodations and Direction of the course set. Every one aboard is doing what they want except for me. As the Captain of this ship I am responsible for the Health, Happiness and Welfare of every one aboard. Since I hold Value in the people aboard I ACTUALLY am doing what I Want to do. Taking care of Business. Thanks for asking. :)

So that might be what Scott means in the OP. To think to the ones you love? And to value what you can do for Them? That's what I think, and the best way we can do that in the system we must deal with now is to learn how to deal with the problems that come up with anyone that goes against that.
