They lose their licence if they don't [literally look after them selves].
We asked a solicitor to interpret a sect of an act. The sect is regularly breached by Police. The solicitor refuses to respond in English; in other words, they support the police breaching the sect.
shall v. 1) an imperative command as in "you shall not kill." 2) in some statutes, "shall" is a direction but does not mean mandatory, depending on the context.
Is Scott Duncan the only one to notice and question the 'ethical standards' of the 'profession'? The ethical standards of the legal profession have been evidenced throughout modern history. It is common enough to hear someone say that all lawyers are liars. It is conventional wisdom that tells us to not trust a lawyer. The profession itself is an amalgamation of the closed system truths which adherents profess. A closed system truth is not necessarily true outside of the system. The legal profession is the professing of fictions and the claimed label of the professional society is 'Law Society'. It is clearly not a Lawful Society. (Queen) Elizabeth Mountbatten (or Windsor?) promised to uphold the 'true profession' in the coronation ceremony of June 02, 1953. The 'true profession' is as false as the label 'Law Society'.
@Lawful Man. Scott is not the only one who knows and questions the profession. We have a friend/associate/colleague who is currently studying for their Doctorate of Law. He is most scathing of the profession and goes right out of his way to "help" those being screwed over by the profession and the system.
We are certain that he and Scott would make good friends :-)
diligently represent the best interests of my client: He want to REPRESENT my fucking interest, REPRESENT !...I, as a CEO of a corporation, want to PROTECT its interest....I see a big difference here.
representation n. 1) the act of being another's agent. 2) acting as an attorney for a client. 3) a statement of alleged fact either in negotiations or in court. (See: represent)
Any action or conduct that can be turned into a statement of fact.
For example, displaying a car with an odometer reading of ten miles constitutes a representation to a prospective buyer that the car has only been driven ten miles.
The term representation is used in reference to any express or implied statement made by one of the parties to a contract to another, regarding a particular fact or circumstance that serves to influence the consummation of the deal.
As applied to the law of Descent and Distribution, representation is the principle by which the issue of an individual who has died inherits the portion of an estate that such person would have taken if he or she had lived.
