I do type to fast, have just noticed the t instead of y. And I never check before hitting return. I use two fingers on each hand in the main but fast as I been typing since my old Sinclair ZX81 so i guess i just got quicker and quicker whilst never training myself to touch type.

I totally get what Tara is trying to say and in a perfect world this wouldn't even be an issue. However we are a social forum and sometimes with limited time and limited understanding. I wouldn't hold people near as accountable here, especially for the most part when we all understand or have an understanding of what is meant. Where I do have a problem is when the Social Worker can't even spell my name right in her paper work, especially after I have been dealing wither for the last 18 months. I think that there are all sorts of reasons why there are spelling mistakes, it isn't that important here. And I think, that it is amazing that Joseph Pierre Gilles has a good command of the English language, I would hate to try and start to write anything in French.

In fact, for this purpose, it is exactly the wrong word. I regret there are only bonus points for this exercise; next time perhaps we should go for something more impressive like a Shrap sound system, or an Eyepod.

I think that we can all agree that language is important and if we can we should do our best to use it as correctly as possible. However sometimes we are rushed, or mistype and take a look at where we are FACEBOOK. I think that picking on people's spelling and grammatical use of words is nit picking. We all know why we are here, for a reason: to learn. Not all of us are endowed with the ability to make words flow or be spelled correctly or used correctly. Get over it and quite being so critical of people in that respect.

We have encountered the expected insults and the use of the term, "Grammar Nazi". More interesting to me, though, is that even the negative comments are presented in correctly-punctuated, well-formed sentences. I am not disappointed with the results. Not to be condescending, this demonstration of thoughtful, intelligent discourse bodes well for the success of the forum.
