Small point of fact: A COW is NOT "income". ...and stop using "employed". You get INCOME from "employment", whereas CONTRACTING is a private undertaking.

The jurisdiction is even narrower than you think. Government ONLY has claim to INCOME. INCOME is pay from "Employment" or gains through Money of Account. DEPOSITS are not part of the government's jurisdiction either. Jut put FOR DEPOSIT ONLY in the memo section of any cheques you deposit. NO INCOME TAX. Deposits AREN'T INCOME.

Ok....."income"..was what I said...UN context if what I was getting at. If you're even "reporting", you're subscribing to THEIR game..it makes your earnings become "income" from your "employment" and not earnings from your independently contracted trade work. So if you're "filing" it's "income" you're REPORTING.... So ...when I said "IF any"...it stands to reason that it would be "income" from employment that would be filed under THEIR system, since I don't and can't file "private undertakings". There's a myriad of underlying implications here... For example...if there is no MONEY exchanged between two private individuals...what can the government do to tax that? Since what is Caesars is his.. I guess he gets a cut....but a cow...ain't income! (gee....who told me that...? ). It's really about government interfering with the private contract and associations of two free individuals that's my point. If I BARTER... Does Caesar want a few ribs and some steaks? Can he even ask for that...if it ISN'T "employment income"?

We need that post Dean posted about "juris" and "diction". Very narrow indeed...once you know what jurisdiction really is, and where it's roots lie

Here in the US they tax under a Class 5 Tax which is gifts and Bequeath....meaning you are volunteering to gift them your equal exchange of energy....income=profit, and you are not profiting off your own energy, you are making an equal exchange of your energy. So perhaps you could exempt yourself on the w4.... Scott, I've heard you can also use Trust Special Deposit or Deposit by Lawful Money?

Consideration? (as I play the neophyte) What's consideration? Sound like a word with many meanings... Maybe one specific to .... Contracts?

way back in the pre 70's people would write a contract for like painting or carpentry, "for the sum of one piece of silver and other consideration"...
