when i was a kid we traveled all over the place on dirt bikes,go-carts, anything we could slap a motor and wheels on and go have fun...better than doin crack and stealing shit...I have no issue with the boys riding their "contraptions" around, as long as they aren't damaging anyone's property of course...I have a feeling I have not seen the last of that cop though, lol...and Harm got to add her two cents too, so she was happy...and also made a new "friend", lol
ha ha ha I actually thought of you when I was talking to him Scott...and then realized, I am not prepared... so I kept it grade five level...though I still didn't get any answers from him at that level either, lol
1. The scope of "person" as set out in s.2 of the Criminal Code R.S.C. 1985, c. C-46 extends somewhat beyond the individual, covering additionally public bodies, corporations, societies and companies, but, groups having common characteristics such as race, religion, colour and ethnic origin ARE NOT included in the definition (R. v. Keegstra, [1990] 3 S.C.R. 697)
you could have just told him; without predjudice that he is disturbing the peace, and asked his name & badge & supervisors I.D. & phone number and refused to answer anything without presentation of a proper warrant and a claim of jurisdiction. and if he was representing the 'private park' property as an attorney and wether or not they had a valid complaint?
ask him if he was investigating a criminal complaint? by what grounds does he have to interrogate you in violation of the fifth ammendment that he has a duty to uphold under his oath of office?
Norah- or as Scott more recently put it:
Scott Duncan: Aren't you operating under fraud, as this is a common law jurisdiction?
