Speaking as someone whose parents pulled her out of the public school system after grade 1 and both my younger brother and I were homeschooled from then on out, I can tell you from experience that they CANNOT stop you. And the homeschool curriculum we used was 4 or 5 grades AHEAD of what the public education system teaches. The easiest option is that...forget fighting the school board...pull her out and find a local homeschool group to join. When I finally chose to go to high school in grade 9 for the art classes, not only did they accept all of my previous credits, they gave me credit for the other high school classes I was simultaneously doing at home. Better education in the end, and no messy legal battles.
No problem. I recommend homeschooling to EVERYONE! We had all 8 subjects finished by lunch each day, at the latest...that leaves ALL afternoon for anything you want. People say the kids are isolated without the social aspect of public school? That is SUCH BULLSHIT. You join a homeschool group with other local families and kids make friends quickly. And because you all homeschool, staying over on a school night just means bringing your books along to do your work together in the morning...we had swimming lessons, ice skating, roller skating...all the same things the public schools did. We used Abeka books from Pensacola, Florida (Yes, it IS a Christian based curriculum...but the 4-5 grades advanced thing made them the best choice back then. I'm sure there are MANY other options now) for our curriculum and the books are pricey, but you can always find families with kids a year advice and below yours to swap books with at the end of each year. We did the standardized tests at the end of the year to show that we'd done the work. My grandmother taught me to read and write when I was 3, my father turned everything into a lesson...every book, television show, or movie was a history/geography/political/scientific/tactical-strategic/special effects/philosophical/thought-provoking lesson. I wouldn't trade that for anything public education has to offer.
WOW, thats absolutely absurd. Whatever you send, id send it on legal-sized paper, and have 3 people you know sign it 'Noticed by: whoever;' Redress says you dont want your documents 'Witnessed by:' anyone, because then they are TESTIFYING, cuz then if they are TESTIFYING, that means supposedly they can be brought into court possibly later on and then maybe you have 3 less friends.
My issue with the City, i sent them like Scott mentioned NOTICE FOR PROOF-OF-CLAIM, and hit them with Dean's line- "That's a presumption-of-law/you have made a presumption-of-law. PLEASE PROVIDE FOR ME FULL-DISCLOSURE WITH A PAPER-COPY OF THE ACTUAL LAW AS PROOF OF YOUR CLAIM THAT I HAVE SUPPOSEDLY BROKEN AND/OR VIOLATED THE LAW.
Thank you, and Happy belated-St. Patricks Day! (i kill'em with kindness) ;)
OH- and this is how i start-off every NOTICE: "Hi - how are you? Let me just first start-off by saying that i am writing this in good faith and i do not wish to create controversy as i wish to remain in peace-and-honour." :))
When i lived in LA awhile back, i came home to find a NOTICE on my door. But it just wasnt a NOTICE; it was a, "Notice OF EVICTION." NOTICE 'OF EVICTION,' as in, NOTICE 'FOR PROOF-OF-CLAIM'
I liked it when you could spank your kids and social services didn't come running... stupid how all this commerce crap affects everything... I listened to my parents cause they would kick my ass if I didn't.
If it gets too out of hand you could always start asking for FULL-DISCLOSURE on:
* whats the name of the Underwriter of your Hazard/Performance/Surety Bond?
* whats the bonding-number of your Hazard/Performance/Surety Bond?
* where can i go see the Bonds' terms that specifically say you are to execute the duties of their office faithfully, apparently
* where can i go to get a copy of your Bond?
* where is the address of the Risk Management department that is holding your Bond?
Ex nudo pacto non oritur action. No actions arises on a naked contract without a consideration. See Nudum Pactum...Whats a NAKED contract without a consideration..????
I don't think this will get out of hand, she turns 16 in about a month and then they can just kick her out. I'm just annoyed with threats of imprisonment and/or fine.
" I'm just annoyed with threats of imprisonment and/or fine."..... im pretty sure you cant threaten someone with imprisonment and/or fine without a valid claim. That sounds alot like Blackmail. Blackmail is Extortion. Extortion is Fraud. Fraud is against the law AND/OR unlawful.
Grants of Forfeitures.
That all Grants and Promises of Fines and Forfeitures of particular persons before Conviction are illegall and void.

Beverly May Braksma. I'd be a lot more worried about WHAT THEY CAN DO TO YOUR CHILD than your own ass. She's up against a rabid feral pack o violent raping pedophiles. Consider that PLEASE!!
Derek Moran, slayin them. Grants & forfeitures. Must look that 1 up to see if it's in the aus constitution. Pretty sure the wording is the same in the Imperials Act Applications Act CoA 1901.
Adam; that is a fact that ALL parents must be ready to face. There is no shortage of government agents willing to overstep their limitations, especially when you interupt their ROUTINE. One MUST meet such agression EVERYTIME!
BTW, this "meeting" was yesterday where the Principal of the school ASKED me if I was going to attend. I said, "You all got my notice, therein I declined." He asked if my daughter was going and I said she was told not to. THE END... That was it!
Yep, the principal asked her if she would like to be included in the meeting and she said no. He said well you can come in if you have any questions and she said no. So they deemed her 16 (she will be in a month) and let the whole thing go.
