I post this question again, for our friends in Merica: Where in the USA would you put a lien on the NAME? I've seen Scott publish a website for Canada. The way I have seen people putting a lien on the NAME here in the USA is filling a UCC 1 in the Dept. of State. But, Scott has mentioned that using UCC doesn't work, unless you have a fleet of ships to enforce whatever. So, that confuses me.
So, taking this into consideration, where in the USA would you put a lien on the NAME?
