I'm not saying they wouldn't lie, but that there are certain limits to what they can lie about. The unlawful enactment of entire Acts or amendments is not something they can get away with. Neither the courts nor the people would tolerate it. I've been able to acquire the same for legislation in other countries, states and provinces.
